Heck even if I could port it over to MySql or MS Access, I could at least write some php code to view the records.

My db knowledge is limited to Linux MySql, Access, Paradox and some Oracle.

Unfortunately I dont understand how sybase works, I have extensive knowledge in networking and Linux scripting not a DBA type stuff.

They just need the basic customer details; name, address, phone, email and all the history notes.

Ive tried multiple times to get the system to reinstall but the software has always been a pain for years no matter what OS youre running.

Ive defiantly wasted over 50 hours trying to get the software to work again on windows 2000 server, 2003 server, new novell servers and peer-to-peer all to no avail.

The customer paid quite a bit of money in the past to convert the data in the past into Act but Act didnt display all of the information.

As I stated, Id really appreciate any information that you guys can provide me with so I can interpret and convert the data so that it can be read from one or two workstations.
